kaki dan lelaki

Antara rijlu (kaki) dan rojlu (lelaki) , dua perkataan yang berbeza maksud tapi mempunyai sejarah yang menarik.

Di zaman Rasulullah dan para sahabat, mereka banyak hidup bermusafir. Dari satu tempat ke satu tempat.Bermusafir ke Taif, Habsyah, Madinah terutamanya, bermusafir untuk berperang dan lain lain.Mereka menunggang unta dan berjalan kaki. Jumlah unta tidak cukup untuk menampung jumlah musafir.Jadinya, lelaki yang berjalan kaki dan perempuan diberi kelebihan untuk berada di atas unta.Jadinya, kaki (daripada berjalan) sangat significant dengan kaum lelaki .Dan dari situlah sebenarnya muncul perkataan rojlu (lelaki) daripada rijlu( kaki). Ejaan yang sama dengan huruf ro',ja',la' tetapi perbezaan baris huruf pertama membezakan maknanya.

Benarlah, bahasa melambangkan culture bangsa itu.

Grammar (qowaid) bahasa arab memang susah.Sometimes (or many times) structure of the sentences are not paralleled to the rules.It just happened, it is how arabs use it.

Belajar arabic daripada native speaker adalah satu kelebihan.Tutor saya, namanya Yusof seorang palestine.Lecturer saya, Mira, I think she is a lebanase or egyption.2 orang pengguna bahasa arab tapi mempunyai character yang amat berbeza. Mungkin jugak sebab gender yang berbeza kot =p

Yusof was graduated from engineering school but end up becoming a translator.Saya rasa belajar language sangat menarik.Dan tidak semua orang suka bahasa.Saya semakin suka arabic.Setiap perkataan, ada sejarahnya, ada kaitannya.

Mira once said,

"Mardhiyah, you should take advance arabic in the future.You could be a teacher"

(maksud tersirat: sayangnya dah belajar bahasa arab tapi takkan separuh jalan je,sambunglah into advance arabic)

aah,memang pun.antara suri rumah ataupun cikgu.

Masa itu kehidupan.Kehidupan yang berlalu takkan berulang, begitu juga dengan masa.Banyak kerja kena buat tapi banyak juga masa yang terbuang.

Semester kelima tinggal sebulan lagi dan exam timetable dah keluar.Macam biasa, saya paling lambat habis exam but fortunately saya tidak keseorangan!hehe..dugaan tau habis lambat ni kalau sorang2..imagine you have another one week to wait for your last paper and no one at home!!!!

Today is sunday dan esok isnin.Esok kena submit essay dan rabu ni ada test.Final year lah mar, biasalah.Minggu depan another essay dan test.A month to go to finish this semester and musim imtihan kembali..again!huh.

Remember tak pasal weekend ni saya taktau nak gi mana?nak gi kursus kawen or g malaysian hall.Saya tak pergi mana2 pun.he he.Instead, my friend bought us tickets to see baba ali (ummah films) tonight.Bukan movie kat cinema tu , tapi ini.He came from Los Angeles .

I better have to get back into my essay and grab some food for lunch.

ini cerita semalam.

Aku dan housemates nak pergi rumah senior.Kami ke sana naik tram.Naik tram 10 minit dan harga tiket tram 3.70 dollars.

Orang lain semua dah ada tiket, aku je nak beli tiket dalam tram.

Naik tram pergi kat ticket machine dan baru je nak masukkan duit,

"Do you want this ticket?"

"sorry?"

"I have a ticket, do you want it?"

"oh,i'll pay you then"

"no,no..take it for free"

"oh,really, thank you so much"

hmm..nak kata tiket dia, dia tak turun pun,mungkin tiket kawan dia yang dah turun tram ni..he looks like arab a bit, muslim kot..if he is not a muslim, i wish he is one day.Thank you Allah.

tengah berjalan nak gi priceline..

"excuse me, do you have a change?" (sambil tunjuk duit 5 dollars)

terkejut jap, "what change?"

"I want coins for the parking"

"oh, I dont think so..let see.." (cuak sebenarnya, kalau pak cik ni jahat camane?kang kena ragut..aku tengok purse..takde coins pastu tengok purse kecik yang lagi satu yang mmg aku isi coins je..semua 20 sen and 50 sen je)

"I dont think I can give you 5 dolars..this is one dollar ..(2 keping 50 sen)..and this 1 dollar ( 5keping 20 sen).."(sambil hulur coins tu)

"I dont have enough 5 dollars, you can take 2 dollars.Dont worry for any change"

"no, no..no..you cant give me free..I need those coins..I give you 5 dollars"

(ish..pakcik ni..malas nak korek coins lagi sebenarnya..)

"no..no..I think I got extra..ok..one dollar (5 keping 20 sen)..another one dollar( 5 keping 20 sen).."

"thats enough..(sambil hulur duit kertas 5 dollars)..take it..thank you so much"

"oh,thank you for the extra one dollar!!!"

pendek cerita : dia bagi 5 dollars saya bagi 4 dollars.

Health officials said their symptoms are mild, and they are responding well to treatment. The students and teacher were part of a group from Auckland's Rangitoto College who spent three weeks in Mexico.

Measures: New Zealanders who traveled to Mexico or North America in the past two weeks are asked to get in touch with health officials if they have flu-like symptoms.

The preventions that we can do:

-Frequent washing hands. Ini sangattttt penting..terutama bila travel..kena selalu basuh tangan..this can prevent from microbs and virus infections..kita muslims, we do wudu' before praying..5 kali sehari lagi...subhanallah.

-social distancing..hmm..

-pakai mask tutup mulut and hidung.

-demam selsema, pergi jumpa doktor ASAP

I'm currently doing review on the article entitled : identification of stem cells in small intestine and colon by marker gene Lgr5.(no idea what it is really..ngeh2).

This is my problem : everytime the momentum to study boosting, I feel like blogging.he he.

I dont prefer to choose but life is all about choosing.

My to do list this weekend:

1.Pergi kursus kahwin organised by EHSAN at uni, of course fully certified by JAKIM.

or

2.Going to Malaysian Hall and see Naib Canselor Universiti Malaya and handing in my CV to apply scholarship for furthering postgrad and bekerja dengan UM suatu hari nanti.


hmm...

I choose number 2 but comes another problem( big problem nih)..

"I dont want to further on doing biochemistry, I want to do Arabic instead"
